Paper pieced Grader quilt block pattern.
The Road Grader pattern is designed for use with the many other 12" road work and construction vehicle quilt blocks I have designed. The finished quilt block (excluding seam allowances) measures 12" high and 28" wide when finished. This means that it will easily fit above or below 2x 12" quilt blocks, with a 4" sashing between them. There is also some room on the sides of the grader to trim the block slightly if you wish to have a smaller sahing width, or, slightly smaller intersecting quilt blocks.
Block sizes included: 12" x 28" (left and right facing quilt block templates are included)
Difficulty: Medium / Confident Beginner.
A separate file with a foundation paper piecing tutorial is also included for beginners!
This quilt pattern includes easy to follow instructions to make your own version of this stunning quilt block.
My patterns are designed to be user friendly and include:
- Colour foundation templates for easy fabric placement
- 1/4" seam allowances on all templates.
- Easy to understand instructions and a beginner guide to paper piecing
- Diagrams to assist you constructing your quilt block and putting the foundation templates together.
